Product Manager – Virtual Reality
Our Digital Tools department's mission, within the Customer Experience team, centers around AR & VR, AI Agents for Marketing, IIoT & Smart Labels, Digital Twins, and Remote Communication technologies to improve customer experience and interaction. Most of the initiatives we drive require handling of software and hardware topics. Our role covers all process steps from strategic alignment about potential use-cases of a new technology at the beginning, searching for & evaluations of vendors, calculating business cases, developing use-case specific solutions with internal and external partners, driving technology implementation, assuring data & cyber security together with IT, establishing operational models, road mapping of the strategic direction, training of potential users, up to maintaining and improving the technology setup of choice and covering the Product Manager role.

Your Role
Your responsibility as a Product Manager for VR Trainings is to further drive the topic of virtual reality-based training solutions. In this role you will:
- Drive business development for VR training solutions, including meeting targets for generated revenues, executing pricing strategies, negotiating with customers.
- Develop GTM strategy, lead implementation of concept, and get eCommerce procedures in place.
- Networking across all related departments to achieve consensus on future directions, net steps to be implemented, general approaches, or even aspects to be improved.
- Ramp-up and maintenance of product portfolio within our system landscape.
- Prioritize features based on business value, customer needs, and market opportunities in close alignment with Franchise Product Management, GSA, TSS, M Labs, Customer Application team.
- Conduct market research, gather customer feedback to improve product, define and communicate product vision and strategy for VR training solutions.
- Manage the product backlog together with dedicated Project Manager from Commercial perspective.
- Support M Labs with their digital transformation initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in business, biotechnology, or related field; MBA is a plus
- 2-3 years of experience in product management, preferably with VR/AR or e-learning products
- 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or customer-facing roles
- Outgoing personality, easy in dealing with multiple stakeholders with different opinions at a time
- Knowledgeable about how to best maneuver within our Commercial stakeholder landscape with Regional Sales, GSA, TSS, and Customer Applications
- Familiarity with biotechnology industry, particularly in areas related to production processes
- Track record of successfully launching new products or entering new markets
- Effective communication and stakeholder management across various departments
- Understanding of VR/AR technologies and their applications in training scenarios
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) with preferably some understanding of German (spoken)
