Position Summary
As we continue our expansion, we are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead and standardize IT governance across our hotels, ensuring cost-efficient, secure, and scalable technology infrastructure across our hotels. The CTO will be responsible for IT strategy, cybersecurity, system integrations, and compliance with data protection regulations, playing a pivotal role in structuring Aethos’ technology landscape.

Position Summary
As we continue our expansion, we are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead and standardize IT governance across our hotels, ensuring cost-efficient, secure, and scalable technology infrastructure across our hotels. The CTO will be responsible for IT strategy, cybersecurity, system integrations, and compliance with data protection regulations, playing a pivotal role in structuring Aethos’ technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a group-wide IT strategy, ensuring efficient IT governance, infrastructure, and cybersecurity
- Oversee and standardize phone systems, WiFi networks, and data security across our hotels
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations
- Streamline IT operations and consolidate technology budgets to prevent excessive costs while maintaining efficiency
- Lead the selection, implementation, and integration of key software tools across hotels, such as CRM systems, procurement platforms, and cybersecurity solutions
- Establish IT policies and best practices for user access management, email security, and software administration
- Manage and enhance cybersecurity protocols, preventing data breaches and strengthening overall IT resilience
- Work closely with brand leadership, finance, and legal teams to align IT investments with business objectives
- Lead the recruitment and development of IT support teams, ensuring hotels receive the necessary technical support
- 5-10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, ideally within hospitality, real estate, or multi-brand environments
- Proven experience in IT strategy development, infrastructure scaling, and cybersecurity
- Strong knowledge of data security, GDPR compliance, and IT governance
- Experience with cloud-based solutions, CRM integrations, and hospitality technology stacks
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex IT topics in clear, business-friendly terms
- Solution-oriented, proactive, and able to balance strategic and hands-on responsibilities
- Highly organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, international environment
- Experience managing IT budgets and ensuring cost-effective technology solutions
